BZ WBK Towarzystwo Funduszy Inwestycyjnych S.A. ("BZ WBK Investment Fund Company") entered the property market with the debut of Arka BZ WBK Property Market Fund that has been in operation since the second half of 2004. The building process of the investment portfolio ended in the summer of 2007, the value of the Fund’s assets increased by almost 57% from its inception until October 31, 2011 reaching the amount of PLN 532.9 million. The Fund controls properties of the total value over PLN 1.1 billion and its portfolio comprises 12 commercial properties, 2 residential developments and 4 undeveloped pieces of land. On June 30, 2011 the Fund started real estate portfolio liquidation process in order to sell its properties.
In July 2008 BZ WBK Investment Fund Company launched the second real estate fund - Arka BZ WBK Property Market Fund 2. Property portfolio-building phase ended in the summer of 2011. On October 31, 2011 net assets value reached PLN 257,7 million. The Fund controls properties of the total value exceeding PLN 560 million and its portfolio comprises 3 office properties, 3 retail projects and an apartment building.
